Time for another read of "And Then You Die" with yet another news story extracted from the daze headlines . . .
Link~news.yahoo.com/s/ap/odd_cremation_scam&printer=1;_ylt=Agrdi3rJY6C.A4ZuwHODlvsuQE4F"Family cremated mom on BBQ, kept benefits" Thu Oct 16, 5:41 AM ET The family of a dead elderly woman cremated her remains on a makeshift barbecue and continued collecting her retirement checks amounting to more than $25,000, authorities in Northern California said. Ramona Allmond's daughter and grandson were arrested Sunday on suspicion of embezzlement, elder abuse and disposing of a body without a permit.
Allmond, 84, likely died of natural causes, though investigators were still trying to determine the exact cause of death, said Tehama County sheriff's Capt. Paul Hosler.
Allmond's daughter, Kathleen Allmond, 50, and Allmond's grandson, Tony Ray, 30, told investigators their relative died in December. They left her body on her bedroom floor for a week before cremating the remains in their backyard fire pit, Hosler said.
Investigators said the two kept collecting Allmond's monthly retirement checks, amounting to more than $25,000. Sheriff's Detective Richard Knox said they may have been trying to honor Allmond's desire to die at home and be cremated.
The two were arrested after Allmond's son grew suspicious about her whereabouts.
Both were in jail in lieu of bail, with arraignment scheduled for Thursday. The sheriff's department said they do not yet have attorneys."
Another grim news story this week from the US. Ya, this shit actually happens here . . . . .
Life for microwave baby killer A mother who murdered her one-month-old daughter by burning her to death in a microwave oven has been sentenced to life in prison without parole.
China Arnold, 28, was spared the death penalty when the jury in Dayton, Ohio failed to reach a consensus.
Prosecutors said Arnold, who maintains she is innocent, killed her daughter in 2005 after a fight with her boyfriend.
Judge Mary Wiseman said the crime was "shocking and utterly abhorrent for a civilised society".
"No adjectives exist to adequately describe this heinous atrocity," Judge Wiseman said, rejecting a plea by Arnold's lawyers for a sentence that allowed the possibility of parole after 25 years in prison.
Arnold was not in court to hear her sentence, but followed proceedings by video-link from a side room.
Cell confession
The court had heard that China Arnold had argued with her boyfriend Terrell Talley about whether he was the biological father of baby Paris.
Officials investigating the case said Paris Talley had suffered high-heat internal burns but had no external marks.
Prosecutors said that the baby's DNA had been found inside the microwave in Arnold's apartment.
Arnold's cellmate told the court that she had confessed to putting her daughter in the microwave and switching it on, because she was afraid that her boyfriend would leave her if he discovered that he was not the baby's father.
The defence team said that there was evidence that somebody else was responsible for Paris Talley's death, and that the cellmate had now changed her story.
Arnold's lawyers now want a third trial. The first hearing was declared a mistrial when new witnesses came forward.
Arnold "has faith in the system, she is strong and will continue to fight until her innocence is proven", said her lawyer Jon Paul Rion.newsvote.bbc.co.uk/mpapps/pagetools/print/news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/7605472.stm

When I read the lyrics to "Hands Of Fate", I think of the 1984/1985 span of serial killings(14 total) in California by the Richard Ramirez. From this wiki link~ en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_Ramirez "Ricardo Munoz Ramirez was born in El Paso, the youngest of five children to working class Mexican immigrants Julian Ramirez and Mercedes Muñoz. Friends described him as a loner, even in childhood. A big influence on Richard Ramírez's later murder spree was his cousin, Mike, a Special Forces Vietnam War veteran. Mike fascinated Ramírez with polaroids of Vietnamese women whom he boasted of killing and torturing. The two spent time smoking pot and driving around and, according to Ramirez, during that time Mike taught him to shoot and cut people for "maximum effect". When Mike murdered his wife, while Ramirez was present, the final seeds were sown for the development of the modus operandi of the young killer. He started skipping school, and began using marijuana and sniffing glue by the eighth grade. He soon took to stealing, in part to support his drug use. He attended Thomas Jefferson High School in El Paso, Texas though dropped out in the 9th grade; he was arrested twice during that period for drug possession.
He thereafter lived the life of a slacker, smoking marijuana and living on junk food, according to UPI reporters Aurelio Rojas and K. Mack Sisk. Because of his poor hygiene and sugar-rich diet, his teeth eventually started to rot, which made his breath foul and offensive, which fit in with the demonic personality that he was intentionally cultivating.[citation needed] His habitual drug-use, which had by this time progressed to cocaine, led to several arrests for possession as well as a misdemeanor theft charge. In California he was twice arrested for auto theft--in Pasadena in 1981 and Los Angeles in 1984. Michael D. Harris, reporting for UPI, wrote that years later Ramírez' father would maintain that Richard was a "good boy" whose drug-use "put him out of control." Richard often drew the five-point pentagram, a symbol sometimes associated with Satanism, on his own body, and at his trial he would shout "Hail Satan!" in open court. He was a big fan of hard rock and heavy metal bands who sang about Hell and the devil. Ramírez was said to be a fan of AC/DC and in particular of their song "Night Prowler," which was the inspiration for his "Night Stalker" moniker."

Guiltless! Watch out for the "UNDEAD" mutant armyworms down the Texas way metal brutha lml
Check it~
Armyworms attacking pastures, wheat in Texas
By LINDA STEWART BALL, Associated Press Writer Fri Oct 17, 3:58 am ET DALLAS – Texas farmers are once again battling armyworms and the voracious creatures are attacking fields and pastures in formidable numbers. "There are probably more armyworms this year than in previous years," Allen Knutson, an entomologist with the Texas A&M University System, said Thursday. The armyworm, which is actually the caterpillar or larva of the night-flying moth, do the most damage in the fall, when they're at their peak, nearly fully grown at about an inch-and-a-half long. They'll chomp on any plant, but prefer grasses, especially the lush and well-fertilized hay meadows and pastures in North, East and Central Texas. "Unless the farmer is looking very closely, he won't realize he has a problem" until it's too late, Knutson said. "Almost overnight a field can be consumed by armyworms. A farmer drives by and says 'Oh my goodness, I've lost my crop.'" The armyworm gets its name from its method of operation. The larvae occur in large army-like numbers and when they eat all the food in one area they "march" en masse, across roads and fence lines, to the next field for feeding, unseen in the darkness and cool of the night. "When small, they eat very little," Knutson said. "But after 10 days to two weeks, they turn into eating machines." He said armyworms consume about 80 percent of all the food they will eat in the last two to three days of their 30-day life cycle as a caterpillar. The cool temperatures in the fall and generally higher rainfall are favorable for armyworm outbreaks. Brian Betts, who farms about 1,000 acres in East Texas for his beef cattle, has already been plagued with two generations of armyworms this year and fears a third infestation. "We're checking every day because we've got oats and wheat planted," Betts said. "If they get in there, they'll destroy it. ... Catching them early is the key." Pesticides are an effective counterattack, extension agents say, though it's possible to spend more on chemical controls then the pasture or harvest of hay is worth. Betts said if he loses his current crop he'll have to depend on grain and hay to get his cattle through the winter. The moths hibernate or winter in South Texas, then fly north in the spring and summer by the millions, looking for the perfect field to lay their eggs. "One moth can lay 2,000 eggs," said Kenny Rollins, an extension agent in northeast Texas, adding that the armyworms showed up earlier than in past years. "Every year, Mother Nature throws us a curve. When it's wet, we have disease and fungal problems. When it's dry, grasshopper problems." This year, there was enough moisture early in the season to draw more armyworms, Rollins said. They'll devour winter pastures until the first freeze.[/i] Valley lMl lMlHere's the lyrics for the 2nd track off the Illusions/Chemical Exposure Album "Undead"

Emerging from Hell's Dominion To crawl upon the Land Mutants of the Holocaust Lose their Flesh into the Sand Victims of the wicked World Pray to the evil Shrine Brimstone Churches They all fall in Time The Undead Immortality Madness possessed Feeding on Flesh Rancid decaying Stench Vile Stench of Death Burning rot Decay Corpses litter Cities In a silent putrid Array Maggots fill their Brains As every Limb must Fall Submit to the Sewers below And await the Reaper's Call The Undead Immortality Madness possessed Feeding on Flesh Rancid decaying Stench Feed upon the living Flesh As Blood fills their Eyes Wishful whims of Life Our maker hears their Cries Kingdom of the Dead Is cast out upon the Ground Salvation from their Pain Is nowhere to be found The Undead Immortality Madness possessed Feeding on Flesh Rancid decaying Stench Memories of Destruction Inflicted mortal Wounds Mists of gaseous Poison Sullen as it Looms Immortal Corpses crawling In Rust and toxic Slime There is no Death in dying For those who wish to DieUndeadObviously about the undead zombies coming to life and feeding on the living. Yet, are these zombies really the victims of the holocaust, being brought back by incantations of devil worshippers?Mutants of the Holocaust ... Memories of destruction Inflicted mortal wounds Mists of gaseous poison Sullen as it loomsLyrics that made me think they're holocaust victims, being gassed and with memories of destruction.Victims of the wicked world Pray to the evil shrine Brimstone Churches They all fall in timeI don't know...some kind of devil worshippers? Seems the world wasn't such a nice place BEFORE they did incantations to awaken the undead. Who, by the way, are immortal.
I really love the last phrase:There is no death in dying For those who wish to die

"Twisted Face" was the common outcome for many growing up back in the day. A prerequisite? You had to be young, naive, and have that incredible denial gene that made you think you are "immortal". Before even realizing it, you were f_ucked. It didn't matter what your background was. I remember my graduating class in high school. Jocks were using so they could drink more beer. Football players using it while working out or lifting weights. Valedictorians were using to make the grade. The "DnD" crowd used so they could stay awake to play the game. And then there were those in the "psychopath" crowd that used it to go to Shows and beat "the pit" senseless. There was always the eventual "end game". Abuse=Death. I mentioned some names earlier. What happened to them that caused their demise?
Brian was murdered by Kiko. A two week meth binge pitted the friends against each other. Kiko later died in San Quentin.
Glenn & Denise killed themselves. Their children are now being raised by Glenn's Parents.
Lori & Frank were brother and sister who started using meth in the 7th grade. Frank was in n out of prison and later died at 33 of a heart attack from using meth. Lori continued using and was admitted repeatedly to the Napa Insane Asylum. She also died of a heart attack at 35. Melanie committed suicide at her Mom's House.
Phil died in a motorcycle accident at 24. Paramedics spent most of the night picking off body parts from the front of an 18 wheeler and scraped up the rest of what was left of him for the autopsy. Toxicology reports showed enough meth in his system to kill a horse.
Gary was my best friend since elementary school. He started using to be "in" with the crowd. That eventually led to him to using daily while working the 2am shift at the Sadioch Burger King. It was difficult to watch. He worked hard, made his own cash and bought a 72 Grande Torino that was killer. Then he crashed it and was in the hospital, more for his addiction then from the accident. He recovered and resumed using and partying. I later heard that he went crazy on some guy's motorcycle, ran into a street median and was thrown 50 ft. into oncoming traffic. The crash broke his back and had brain damage from not using a helmet. At High School graduation, his Mom wheeled him up to the podium in a wheel chair to accept of his diploma.
It's amazing anyone made out alive back then . . . .

Hear of the "Dogs of War"? Who is the leader of the pack in "Fight or Die"? What does Jiffy symbolize in the story below? Damn it! You know there's gonna be more thoughts to follow. Stay tuned.
"Obese dog frozen to Wis. sidewalk lives, likely because of its fat; owner charged with neglect"
Associated Press Last update: December 5, 2008 - 1:15 PM
SHEBOYGAN, Wis. - A dog weighing more than 120 pounds survived being frozen to a sidewalk overnight, probably because he was insulated by layers of fat, authorities said. The Sheboygan County Humane Society says the "morbidly obese" dog, an aging border collie mix named Jiffy, froze to the sidewalk when he was left out overnight Wednesday. Shelter manager Carey Payne says few dogs could survive the single-digit temperatures, and it was probably the fat that made the difference.
Jiffy's 59-year-old owner was arrested Thursday morning on suspicion of animal neglect, Sheboygan Police Lt. Tim Eirich said. She told police she tried to get the dog inside but couldn't, and instead checked on him every few hours.
The dog is 11 or 12 years old, Eirich said. Shelter workers poured warm water over Jiffy's back end to unstick him from the sidewalk, Payne said, and it was too soon to say whether he suffered any long-term effects.

More "Fight Or Die" in the following story~
"Feds: Calif. returning chinook salmon a record low" By JASON DEAREN, Associated Press Writer – Wed Feb 18, 6:32 pm ET
SAN FRANCISCO – A record-low number of chinook salmon returned to rivers in California's Central Valley last year, indicating that severe restrictions on salmon fishing are likely again this year, federal regulators said. The Pacific Fishery Management Council reported this week that 66,264 natural and hatchery chinook or "king" salmon adults were estimated to have returned to the Sacramento River basin in 2008 to spawn, the lowest estimate on record. The council uses the estimates to determine if it should recommend limits on commercial and recreational fishing. "Our team is putting together the forecast this week, will come out some time next week," Chuck Tracy, the salmon staff officer for the council, said Wednesday. Its final recommendation on fishing limits will be made in April. The numbers are down from about 90,000 in 2007, which led to bans in 2008 on commercial and recreational salmon fishing off the coasts of California and most of Oregon. In contrast, more than 750,000 adult salmon were counted in the Sacramento River basin in 2002. The sharp drop in the king salmon that swam from the Pacific Ocean through San Francisco Bay to spawn in the Sacramento River and its tributaries last fall is part of broader decline in wild salmon runs in rivers across the West in recent years. The Sacramento River chinook run serves as a bellwether for the Pacific's salmon fishermen — the run often provides the bulk of salmon caught off the coasts of California and Oregon. In the Sacramento Delta, fishermen and regulators believe large pumps used to move water around for farming and other uses is to blame for the falling numbers. Others say changes in the ocean due to greenhouse gas pollution also are killing the fish.
Environmental advocates blame the state's system of canals, dams and pumps, and have sued the National Marine Fisheries Service to impose restrictions to help save fish. "These most recent salmon numbers ... are further proof that (pumping) operations ... are harming salmon," said Mike Sherwood, an attorney for environmental advocacy group Earthjustice that filed the suit. Tracy said returns in the Klamath River, the next big salmon spawning river north of the Sacramento River, were higher overall but still fewer than regulators had expected. Regulators and fishermen had expected this year would be tough. The decline in the salmon population has been economically devastating for the fishing industry, and the council reported that salmon fishing revenue in 2008 for the entire West Coast was $6.9 million, down from $39.9 million in 2007. "Realistically, we were looking at the fact that we wouldn't have a season this year. We're looking at 2010 before we can fish again," said Zeke Grader, executive director of the Pacific Coast Federation of Fishermen's Associations, an industry group. Grader said the fishermen's association has saved millions of dollars in federal assistance received after the collapse of the Pacific Coast salmon industry. "That money sitting in the account will be distributed to keep people alive for this year," Grader said. The National Marine Fisheries Service will make its final decision on the fate of this year's fishing season after the Pacific Fishery Management Council makes its recommendation.

"Fight Or Die" was one of the original DTP Demo tracks. At the time, I could see the SADUDES at the movies or at the drive-in checking out RAMBO 1, 2, 3; Commando, or a Chuck Norris flick like the Octagon. Action movies were big box office in the 80's and they were a must see for kids with nothin to do.
You pick the place in Antioch, CA, whether it was the STAMM, the El Campanil, or the Bridgehead Drive-in, and you would have found me, or even the SADUDES up in the "high" seats where the real smokin and drinkin took place. Great times!
