Another favorite of mine!
Safety In Numbers
Taught and raised the ways of the new world Right from wrong - It's only influential Generations pass - Provides no balance Safety in numbers - Not afraid of the challenge Face the change in everyday life Evolution for all to be insane Timeless wave it programs my soul Beyond circumstances and despair The chain of life to be insane Revolves around my ways The wrong and right in black and white Useless lives will fade away Reanimated yet segregated Only to break the night by the day The chain of life to be insane Revolves around around my ways Safety in numbers Face the change in everyday life Evolution for all to be insane Timeless wave it programs my soul Beyond circumstances and despair The chain of life to be insane Revolves around around my ways Taught and raised the ways of the new world Right from wrong - It's only influential Generations pass - Provides no balance Safety in numbers - Not afraid of the challenge

Taught and raised the ways of the new world Right from wrong - It's only influential
Is there truly a right and a wrong for each situation? Is there an absolute in this case? When a child is raised and taught how he or she should act, doesn't that define how they think about the world and their actions? If they are taught that it is their duty to hate someone else. If they are told that is right, won't they believe it?
Generations pass - Provides no balance Safety in numbers - Not afraid of the challenge
We can only define what is suitable when judged by another. As generations progress, cultures and acceptable ideas change. What was the norm 50 years ago is now dull and boring to most children, while if we wore the kinds of clothes we are currently wearing 50 years ago, we would be seen as weird and kept at a distance. We are only safe within our own sphere of beliefs, surrounded by others with enough similarities to allow us to act as we've been taught.
Face the change in everyday life Evolution for all to be insane
Each day we have the chance to experience, or to cause someone else to experience, a set of views contrary to what we are used to. We can push at the norms, and influence them. The more prevalent they are, the more easy it is to accept them into our way of life. Justification is acceptance.
Timeless wave it programs my soul Beyond circumstances and despair
I can't come up with a good wording for this.
The chain of life to be insane Revolves around my ways
Our actions are defined by our surroundings. We can't betray the acceptance of others without paying a cost. For instance, it isn't an accepted practice in most societies to steal, so if you do and are caught then you are punished. We are limited in what we can readily do by the thoughts of others.
The wrong and right in black and white Useless lives will fade away
Those that are seen to be in the wrong of a society will either be moved out of the society or be eliminated because they don't fit within the belief guidelines?
Reanimated yet segregated Only to break the night by the day
We split ourselves into groups that more easily contain our beliefs, making the borders of our beliefs next to a group with different beliefs seem like "night and day"?
All in all, I love the idea, and it gives a lot to think about.

youtube.com/watch?v=HjdKO0yrmEYDirector David Lynch (Twin Peaks, Blue Velvet, Mulholland Dr.) appeared on the Dutch TV program "Wereldgasten" Sunday, December 3, 2006 to discuss his questions regarding 9/11. He showed clips of Loose Change and discussed the controlled demolition-like collapses of the World Trade Center towers and WTC Building 7, which, as David Lynch points out, was "pulled." He also focused questions on the Pentagon and the hole in Pennsylvania. "It's an event that has many questions and no answers," Lynch said. The Dutch host asked if Lynch believed the U.S. Government carried out 9/11. He responded, "It's too big for people to think about. It's too big." The host then asked for further clarification and a somewhat hesitant Lynch clarified, "It's-- you know-- something no one wants to think about."

"Safety in Numbers" begins to take on completely new meaning. Consider the lyrics as you look back at when the current R.O.B "Riegn of Bush" started. Think of the 2000 Election with voting irregularities in Florida. Further consolidation of media conglomerates in the US, nullified "freedom of the press" . . .
Then 911 . . . .shocked, horrified, and spread absolute fear everywhere...
Evolution for all to be insane Timeless wave it programs my soul Beyond circumstances and despair The chain of life to be insane Revolves around my ways
"Every thing possible to be believ'd is an image of truth." ~William Blake

Joa is always so event related with his analysis. Makes me jealous at times, though I know that's wrong. ANYWAY, time to move on.
Mask
You hide behind a mask too confused to show what's real Plastic sense of value to go with your plastic way of life Your self-righteousness is corrupted by your tendencies to avoid your lies Paranoia - Hypocrite - You burn another bridge
"Your self-righteousness is corrupted by your tendencies to avoid confrontations causing a fake relationship with the ones who support you and as you burn yet another bridge you fall into the trap of becoming a hypocrite of all the accusations you once slayed me with".
Afraid - Confused - Coward behind the mask You hide behind a mask too confused to tell the truth Backwards way of thinking to go with your backward way of life
"You relay a false confidence and a sense of friendly surroundings but behind closed doors you burn with hatred and loathing to anyone honest to not provide you with a total worship and give you full control which causes you to loose it and go insane".
Afraid - Confused - Coward behind the mask How could you not think that I won't even know How could you not think that I can't even see How could you not think that I don't even feel How could I forget the words you said to me How could I forget the things you took from me How could I forget the way you were to me I don't even care who's behind the mask - don't f**k**g care who you really are

I apologize in advance for this, but I don't think that I need say anything to analyze Mask. It explains itself clearly and is easily understood.
Anyone that feels like saying a few words is more than welcome, but I don't feel I can derive anything more meaningful than what is already written.

Thanks guys but enuff with the kudos. . . .My viewpoint and analysis is due inpart because I'm an info addict;D . . . . Pure and simple. It's that "new world affliction" that's more of a hindrance then a help at times. Anger, anxiety, insomnia/sleep deprivation, paranoia, the constant need for truth is a must! Feels like Johnny Pneumonic only there's no filter, the download never ends. . .. .
Now for the Mask~ . . . . . . . .been there. Feel that . . . . and still do>
NES, great shit from Buckethead & Friends on the way!

From EoA, this one is shorter but I enjoy it just the same! I never read into this one too much, but it seems to contain much that I should reach to understand.
Fuel
One way promise me - Hope I disagree They'll lie inherit me - No honesty now I do agree Hope - Fear - Desire My time is their gain I will achieve despite the inhuman lie again Faceless - Bastard wins Fuel by fire Deception is their tool - A vehicle with no rule A trust built on emptiness - A covenant of uselessness No priority above life We'll do without what they won't do for me It's they're loss now Identified by empty hand their gain is me now Fuel by fire

One way promise me - Hope I disagree They'll lie inherit me - No honesty now I do agree Hope - Fear - Desire
Those that are asked to do something, though they have no desire to do it. These people lie so that they may gain what they do desire, but lose nothing of their own.
My time is their gain I will achieve despite the inhuman lie again Faceless - Bastard wins Fuel by fire
Benefitting others who have no intention of helping you. But, we shall perservere! Even if they have what they wish now, there will be retribution.
Deception is their tool - A vehicle with no rule A trust built on emptiness - A covenant of uselessness No priority above life
Those who deceive for their own ends come up hollow. When you shake a man's hand and it crumbles in on itself, it desires nothing more than to fill itself with your work. Because this is its livelihood.
We'll do without what they won't do for me It's they're loss now Identified by empty hand their gain is me now Fuel by fire
Detach those that harvest your work. You can surely go on without them, as they never did anything to support you anyway. What they are left with is responsibility, and surely that won't get done. But what is worse is now you can have your retribution, if you so wish. What is worse than having no one to stand on is being stood on. That's why people should be a platform to themselves, lest they run the risk of developing a crutch.
I started writing wondering what I was going to say. Now I've found out.

Yes. NES, you hammered that one bro! "Fuel" as with many tracks from the Sadudes seems to have a common, deliberate foe: exploitation by the "music business"."Fuel by fire . . ."There are some great lyrics turned out for this one. The lyrics ring true and could easily apply to the job you have to do to get by in this $$$$$ driven world. It also seems to define the modern day corporate environment i.e. unscrupulous conduct, backstabbing by desire, or laying off thousands only to reopen the same type of manufacturing facility in China. Why pay a living wage in the US when you can pay for labor that's pennies on the dollar to do the same work? "Deception is their tool - A vehicle with no rule A trust built on emptiness - A covenant of uselessness No priority above life"Wait, it gets better. All environmental, labor, safety laws in the US are circumvented in this scenario. Pollution, poor work conditions, even child labor is common place. "My time is their gain I will achieve despite the inhuman lie again Faceless - Bastard wins"Yah! . . . . Greed wins, integrity is bankrupt, and the "I got mine, screw everyone else" mantra rules.f**k, there's got to be a better way!

d**n straight.
lemme go on.
Power Of One
Trust interprets power - Lies may deceive Behind facial masks - Dominance is achieved Ruled by one - Unity now strong Power to behold - Force all control Wise men will dream - Of the one built to be Faith in all who believe - Trust now achieved Face to Face - Raised for today Just abiding force - Provoked to destroy - DESTROY Power of one - Power of one - Change has begun - Power of one Trust interprets strength - All blind to their needs Open eyes can't see all the lies Face to face - Raised for today Just abiding force - Provoked to destroy Power of one - Power of one - Change has begun - Power of one

to me this is simply the SADUS manifesto. really, nothing less.
come up here face to face. unity holds us strong. even with open eyes, it's hard to get rid of liars. but a change has begun, and someone / something will eventually be destroyed by the power of one.
all i can say, is that this song kept me going aounrd one of my darkest periods ever. and for this I thank the band.

I have a slightly different view. Only slightly.
People underestimate the advantages of trust. Some use deceit to get their way, and in the short term come out on top. But those who are truthful with one another will be better off in the longrun.
So some people find it better to shed off the dead weight, because you have less to worry about if you only have to trust yourself. What's to slow you down if you remove those who you can't trust from your side? You will become stronger than you ever were, and you can proceed with just action against those who go against you.
Now where I feel I differ, is that I don't see it as someone or something will be destroyed by this power of one. I see the power of one as the one who will make the change. Too often, people that feel something should be done about a situation are hesitant to follow through in what they believe without the support of others. But, it is this self-lessness that makes all the difference in the world. YOU are the Power Of One. Stand up for what you believe, and don't fall short by those who say you'll never make a difference, because in reality, they're the ones that won't make a difference.
