As always, I encourage that anyone who wants to add something to the previous albums do it. I still need to go back and check on something Max noted.
But as of now, we've reached Elements of Anger! Enjoy!
Aggression
So are you afraid of me Stand up for the things you say behind my back Extreme - Incensed - Enraged... You make me feel aggression Your words mean squat to me You've never proven your worth beyond a pile of shit All I feel is... Anger rushes through my veins In no time I'll take you down you will be crushed Intense - Maddening - Fury... You make me feel aggression I can't believe all I hear As for you you'd better prepare to feel my rage All I am is... aggression To your face - I am the scorn - In your eyes - I am the thorn Won't back down Time is short - Your time is due - I'll be here when you're through Revenge is mine All I feel is aggression - All I am is aggression Your words destroy yourself You'll go down because of this I'll see to it Severe - Outrage - Boiling - You make me feel aggression No light no hope you fall Vindicated I stand here and watch you fade All that's left is... aggression

There's not much here to debate on, I'll admit. The only thing that leaves me curious if what kind of thing this fellow did that makes the Sadudes mad enough to be consumed by aggression! Obviously, there are a few lines that detail these:
Stand up for the things you say behind my back
So this person has been speaking about the narrator for some time, but not being straightforward with him.
I can't believe all I hear
Lies?
Your words destroy yourself You'll go down because of this I'll see to it
Because of the lies, the person has lost his credibility and now the Sadudes are prepared to kick some ass!
Actually, I'm probably giving this too much thought. It seems pretty straightforward in its message. There are several other songs I'm waiting for, however. Those...those will be fun! Still, I suppose I should give the week for this song if anyone wants to comment on it? Or, would you all rather we move on?
Here is one thing that does interest me though: To your face - I am the scorn - In your eyes - I am the thorn
Why is the narrator such a pain to this person? Is it because he won't listen to the lies that person is spreading and turns this person's friends against him, or does the narrator physically impress upon him his hate for the words the person spreads?

EOA !±! I've always likened this SADUS Album to a "1st Round KO in less then 10 seconds!" A bare knuckled, bone crushing marathon of vindication. In it's purest form, "aggression" is a calculation. An instinct. A decision. A consequence. A defining moment.
Aggression can be an impulse or an elaborate strategy to exact retribution on those who have crossed you. Through each word, each phrase, "Aggression" is unleashed! Aggression begins NOW!

If aggression has a paradox, it is this~ There is quite a chasm to traverse between emotions at point blank range and negotiated vindication. Depending on your point of view . . . .Keep It Heavy Sadudes.

Aggression: There is no middle ground, or mediocrity to exact a toll. There is only absolution.

One of my favorites!
Crutch
I can't hear but all the screams - Coming down It's how it's been Leave me now and they'll soon be gone - And if not the way I'll make them then Find life or do without Fight all the way slow death A filthy breed is you and me A cry out for help that no one sees Do they scream for you - There's no way run away Do they scream for you - You can't get away Pain from within coming out I'm caving in There's no way out A lost soul no consciousness casts out itself There's no way out The weight is gone - Now live life It seems you can't go on - It's a hard life No more pain - Hard every way Crutch - I can't go on I can't hear but all the screams - Come down I can't retreat Leave me now I'll soon be gone - If not the way I'll make them then Find life or do without Fight all the way a slow death A filthy breed is you and me A cry out for help that can't be seen Do they scream for you - There's no way run away Do they scream for you - Can't get away There's no way out

I can't hear but all the screams - Coming down It's how it's been Leave me now and they'll soon be gone - And if not the way I'll make them then
To me, these are difficult lines to comprehend. I tend to edge away from saying that the speaker is deaf...because I don't think that's what we're talking about. What makes the most sense, in my mind, is that when you're so used to something happening, eventually it becomes normal. If you happen to live near a subway, the rattling come and go of the subway lines would have less disturbing effects later on, because you get used to it. So, if someone is always surrounded by screaming and agony, they'll become immune to it and eventually it will become simply background noise.
However, if you throw someone in the mix that isn't used to this sort of thing, he'll be overcome by it. And wouldn't he ask his friend how he could deal with all the screaming? And his friend would reply "What screaming....oh, that? I'd forgotten about it." In this way, once his friend leaves, he can go back to ignoring the screams, and in a way, becoming deaf to them.
Find life or do without Fight all the way slow death
Find your purpose for living, or don't live at all, because life without purpose is meaningless...but be warned, for those who find purpose also find that life isn't warm and caring, but simply waiting for us to slow as to devour us.
A filthy breed is you and me A cry out for help that no one sees
I think that we're a filthy breed BECAUSE no one sees our pain and comes to help. We often think only of ourselves, and care not for the troubles of others.
Do they scream for you - There's no way run away Do they scream for you - You can't get away
I don't think this is so much whether or not the suffering are actually calling for help from you, but as to whether or not you think they are. Perception. The thought that you, the uncalloused listener, are really the one being addressed is enough to cause you emotional stress if you don't feel powerful enough to actually save them. You can't run away from your conscience.
Pain from within coming out I'm caving in There's no way out
Either the pain one feels from this helplessness one feels when he can't do anything to alleviate the suffering of those calling out, or the pain that he feels from struggling through life, regardless of anyone else's pain.
A lost soul no consciousness casts out itself There's no way out
An unconscious soul, unable to deal with the trauma of life with clarity and precision, simply gives out. There is no hope for continuance of oneself alone.
The weight is gone - Now live life It seems you can't go on - It's a hard life No more pain - Hard every way Crutch - I can't go on
An odd verse here. On one side it says that there is no weight, no more pain, thanks to this crutch that takes the pressure off of life. Yet, in between it says it's a hard life, and one can't go on. The only way I can think of this is that something has alleviated the pain you feel, the need for struggling, allowing you to live, but because of it you are dependent and you can't go on depending on something else. Whether it be a drug, a lie, or someone else, you can't hold onto it forever. Eventually, in the case of a person, they must go on because they can't support themselves and you very well, and with drugs or lies, they deteriorate one's life anyway, making the base foundation less stable than when it started out. So, once it does break down, the base person is more likely to crack and crumble under life's pressures than before.
Thus, take life the hard way, and learn to deal with it. Using a crutch will only make you weaker, even if it feels like it is helping you initially. It's hard for all of us, but without determination and reliance on our own abilities, we end up worse off than we started.

The ever powerful, Words Of War.
One look and all were blind - All that have seen All the pain - It can't live without me Time is blind - As it runs right over me All the pain it seems - Seems to find me One word for you... hate One step and you're history crushed dead Wipe you out... deathly blow finishing stroke bloodshed Homicidal - I am the one executioner of punishment Hate - Words of war - I create Prosper until death becomes the words of war All that you have heard - All that you will find Weakness by corruption - Pollution of the mind Death by my say... cruel No mercy by me - Immolate fate so cold Bloodthirsty no one escape The words of hate the world to cry... hate Words of war I create Prosper until death becomes the words of war

NES! Great way to work through this track. Well done. In many ways, your description is spot on. Song screams from the perspective of someone in the throws of addiction and mental anguish.
Out of all the awesome tracks on this album, EOA's "Crutch" is offered as a "signal". Deliberate at times with the "whispered lyric" urging you closer. The rollarcoaster of downtempo cadence alone reveals the sense agony, the depths of desperation conveyed by the lyrics. Frenetic bursts of vocals, drums, guitars, bass capturing the uncontrollable anger and extreme measures to assure "escape".
This track begins from the perspective of someone who gone through "coming down" or has watched someone close experience the mood swings; torture of 'being"; the primal need for more; to resist the inevitable and surrender to the ebbing "high".
Pick your poison and its' method of choice: the bottle; the needle; inhale; ingested; snort; bought; traded; stolen; extort; coerce; battery; assault; exploit; manipulate. "Crutch" speaks to the power of addiction; the power of escape; the power of mental illness.

"Words of War" is like the Boys from Sadus hitched a ride 10 years into the future when they penned the lyrics for this track! This track seems as if it's coming from the Marine on the frontline, patroling in the Ambar Province, Iraq.
In the last 4 years alone, we have been witness to some of the most senseless, arrogant, brutal acts of war in modern times. All for our viewing pleasure via the Internet or TV. When you compare it to the last 40 years, what has changed? Is 911 reason enough to invade Iraq?
"Prosper until death becomes the words of war"
In "rebuilding" Iraq, Corporations are reporting record profits from this bankrupt policy of our "elected" President. Let's be real--it's a f**king blank check, to be added to this country's erupting deficit. With globalization stripping jobs from once healthy US communities, there is not much choice for the working poor, working class, middle class. They volunteer or sign up with the US Guard and given a 1-way ticket to the "war theater".
"Bloodthirsty no one escape"

One look and all were blind - All that have seen
Those who are quick to judge and then blind to all other views. They can not be persuaded because they can't make themselves see it any other way.
All the pain - It can't live without me Time is blind - As it runs right over me All the pain it seems - Seems to find me
Time has no remorse. It changes people, whether they're ready for it or not. There is no escape from it in this life, and sometimes it's really hard to cope. The only possible solution is death, but even there, time is like the ocean meeting the beach, washing the sand over the imprint we've left until no one remembers it.
Homicidal - I am the one executioner of punishment Hate - Words of war - I create Prosper until death becomes the words of war
For someone who deserves punishment, words are often not enough. But they can infect the mind, lingering around until we spark some memory of our debt. But even if you can brush them off, eventually your time will come and someone will do more to you than just crush your spirit. They will follow through.
All that you have heard - All that you will find Weakness by corruption - Pollution of the mind
You keep hearing the threats, spawned by your failures to live up to your promises, by your ill-deeds and unpaid dues. You won't escape them.
I seem to have written myself into a corner. Looking back and trying to piece my own interpretation of the lyrics together, they don't seem to work, but I shall attempt it.
People can do horrible things. Sometimes a person does a horrible thing in the eyes of everyone else, but for what the perpetrator believes is the right course of action. Joarel mentioning Iraq is an interesting example, and the initial spark is one that fits this well. On September 11th, Al-Qaeda members high-jacked airplanes and crashed them into the World Trade Center's twin towers. As citizens of the US, we all looked at this in horror and made our decision that this was in all senses unjustified and that we should bring this group to justice. I am not agreeing with Al-Qaeda's actions, but I am using this to make the point that we did not question what made them decide to do this (at least not initially or as a widespread question; perhaps analysts did, but most of the public wasn't concerned with reasons), but rather passed judgment and that was that.
Whether or not a person acknowledges their mistakes and apologizes does not make a difference unless they are brought to justice. If one avoids confronting the public opinion and hides from it, over time they will begin devouring themselves from the demons that spawned from their conscience.
But there will be words spoken, and if it is a severe enough debt, if it means enough to other people, then punishment can be expected. Soon reality will come.
