The main reason I registered in this board was to make this thread... I'm from Venezuela and, for some strange reason, good bands hardly ever come... Iron Maiden came once, Metallica too (though I don't like them now), Napalm Death and more recently, Slayer... from all this shows I just could go to Slayer last year and it was fantastic, but one day... I was wandering around and entered one of my favorite metal shops (one of like only ten all over the country ) listening to "Facelift" as I walked and then... I saw it... a huge poster announcing Sadus for april 18!!!! I was like and bought my ticket the next day with my brother. This thread is just to express my gratitude with the band... even considering coming to Venezuela and offer me (and all venezuelans) this once-in-a-life opportunity is fantastic! Once again... thank you Steve, Darren and Jon for coming! and thanks to the board for giving me the chance to express this to the band! Many many thanks! ;D

Here Misanthrope just coming from the show! I can't describe my euphoria! sure the guys could tell somebody made the same scream whenever they finisehd a song... that was me screaming like mad! ;D The ones who organized the show told the public that the guys had a problem with their baggage which was sent to Republica Dominicana! so they lend them some instruments... maybe that's why Darren had so many problems with the guitar First off, the setlist: - Out for blood - Down - Sick - Kill team - Aggession - Freedom - The wake - In the name of - In your face - Drum solo - Good rid'nz - Sadus attack - Hands of fate - Through the eyes of greed - Certain death The guys were friendly as no one can be, totally linked to the fans, how cool is that, ah? unfortunate me, I wasn't in the first row to shake hands with Steve or Darren, but nevermind, tonight I saw, banged, enjoyed and breathed Sadus all the way! Bad thing was... some sound issues, as with Darren's guitar... in the middle of "In the name of" the thing just stopped sounding, so he sang a little and then left Steve and Jon play for a while meanwhile the technicians looked for another guitar for him... same thing happened with Certain death. Now that you said it Joarel, maybe they didn't play more than those songs because of the technical issues. After "In the name of" Steve spoke a little about Jon being upset for not getting so much vibe, so he told the fans he would get back on our faces... that's when the incredible song started!!! then the awesome drum solo! I thought for a second the guys were going to do a cover of "Run to the hills" cause between "Good rid'nz" and "Sadus attack" Jon began playing the tipical drums of that song, but it was just a little, it'd have been interesting though! Hands of fate played just to half and connected with Through the eyes of greed, which I think was fantastic! The guys got the best vibe from the fans, personally I screamed like never in my life just waiting for them to hear my support, I just hope they did! they also talked a little in spanish, though with some mexican idioms that we don't use in here but that doesn't matter! ;D I hope you read this... Darren, Jon, Steve, in the name of all real metal fans from Venezuela, we hope you enjoyed your staying here and the vibe you got from us and dare to come back again some other time. Guys... GRACIAS!!!!! Sorry about the very long post, I'm still so excited! EDIT: THANK YOU for playing "The wake", I just love that song!!! some bad quality pics (from my cell phone) soon!

Misanthrope,
Thanks goes out to you for this awesome report!! The show went on despite the SADUS gear going to the Dominican Republic?? f**kin Aye!! With such short notice, they must have used gear from Natastor or Leaves . . . Hopefully Darren's signature Gibson, his ESP; SDG's ESP; and Jon's DOB(Drums of Brutality:) will make it to Quito, Ecuador. NES, yah, King LewE's got be hurling great flaming, radioactive balls of HellFire on this one!!
